Excerpt from 1996 Annual: Bladen Baptist Association of North Carolina, One-Hundred Fifth Annual Session, Held With Hickory Grove Baptist Church, November 5, 1996 and Cypress Creek Baptist Church, November 6, 1996Moderator Rutland made mention that the associational flag had been made and was on display. He called on dom Roberts to unfurl the flag: The ¿ag will be used in a processional next week at the State Baptist Convention.Moderator Rutland called for the enrollment report. The clerk reported forty eight elected registered messengers, nineteen pastors, one officer, and sixty-six visitors, thus making a grand total of one-hundred and thirty-four present. She made the motion that these messengers and others who would register later constitute the one-hundred fifth session Of the Bladen Baptist Association.
