From having himself practised for many years as an insurance and mercantile arbitrator, he is able to judge of the necessity of making the important subject which he has ventured to treat of more generally known and understood. Of this new Edition much has been re-written, and many additions have been made to the work, to bring the Law and the Practice, as far as concerns Commercial and Insurance Arbitration, down to the present day.
