The contemporary evangelical church faces seriousdifficulties. All their leaders are aware of this and theytry different diagnoses and answers for it. It occurs tome that the current situation is similar to the tragic fateof Samson, to whom the Spirit of God had left him, andhe did not realize it. As solutions are sought in humanand pragmatic techniques, the patient aggravates theircondition. The only correct answer is that this vanishinglife be breathed in, as at the beginning of creation, bythe Word of God.The spiritual life of the church and of ourselvesdepends on listening to and responding to the Word ofGod. And for this to happen, Scripture must take thecentral and authoritative position in the life of the church.
