Logistical support was provided by Ron Dow, head of Environmental Division, naws Point Mugu and by David S. Gilmer, chief of Dixon Field Station, and Harry R. Carter, wildlife biologist, National Biological Service, California Pacific Science Center, Dixon, California. Prior to October 1993, when the National Biological Service was formed, support was provided by the us. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center in Dixon. The Humboldt State University Foundation also provided administrative support throughout this project through the assistance of J. Hamby and R.
