Angebote / Angebote:

This work analyzes the impact of ethnically and religiously motivated conflict on Nigerian foreign policy. Nigeria, today, is the legacy of the British Colonial Administration. Before British Colonial Administration, there existed no country named Nigeria. This work provides the reader with background information on Nigeria's past from the arrival of the White Man up till the independence of Nigeria in 1960. It also gives brief background information on Nigerian domestic politics between 1960 and 2010. Additionally, it looks at Nigerian foreign policy between 1999, when the military rulers handed the administration over to a civilian government, and 2013. As the last stage of the work, it analyzes the impact of ethnically and religiously motivated Boko Haram armed menace in the north-east of the country on Nigerian foreign policy. In the context of bilateral relations, this book looked at how Boko Haram menace affected US-Nigeria bilateral relations, EU-Nigeria bilateral relations, the relations between Nigeria and its neighbors, Nigeria-African Union relations and Nigeria-ECOWAS relations.
