Angebote / Angebote:

Excerpt from Greenhouse and Bedding Plants: Catalogue No. 2, Spring 1894Insects, Few greenhouses may be said to be free from either of the following insects, viz: Green Fly or Aphis, Thrip, Red Spider and Mealy Bug. Whenever plants are infested with either of the above, immediate measures for their destruction must be resorted to. For Green Fly use tobacco, either in the form of snuff or in a weak solution, or by burning tobacco stems to create a dense smoke. For Mealy Bug and lied Spider use Persian Insect Powder, Cole's Insect Destroyer, or a strong solution of Oil Soap, in addition to the tobacco smoke. These ingredients may be obtained from leading druggists.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
