Gunnison River System Bibliography

Angebote / Angebote:

Excerpt from Gunnison River System Bibliography: Subject Bibliography: Gunnison and Related ReferencesThe Gunnison River System bibliographic database is a working product which includes a comprehensive collection of references specific to the Gunnison River, and a selection of related references involving the Colorado River System and other regions. The completion of a comprehensive literature search has been identified as an essential step in determining the research needs associated with water delivery contract negotiations underway in the Gunnison River Basin. The result is a bibliographic database containing 800+ references from which variously organized bibliographies may be generated. The database may be amended as more information is acquired, and as the scope of the bibliographic project is fine-tuned. We anticipate that the database will be useful for other research projects and resource management programs in the Upper Colorado River Basin and similar river systems. The bibliographic database has been constructed using pro-cite software (by Personal Bibliographic Software, Inc.) for ibm computer systems. Each entry (reference) includes key descriptive words which can be used to organize the database in different ways. Bibliographies focusing on specific subject areas, authors, time periods, etc. Can be created from the database by using the search features of pro-cite.The attached bibliography contains th'e' entire database arranged by subject groupings. References that have been placed in more than one subject grouping appear in more than one place in the document. Questions, additions and suggestions about the bibliography may be directed to Janet Wise, nps Regional Water Resources Program Manager, or Chief of Resource Management, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument.
