Excerpt from James Schoolcraft Sherman (Late Vice President of the United States) Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That there shall be printed and bound, under the direction of the Joint Committee on Printing, fourteen thousand one hundred copies of the proceedings and the eulogies delivered in Congress on James Schoolcraft Sherman, late Vice President of the United States, with illustration, of which four thousand copies shall be for the use of the Senate, eight thousand copies for the use of the House of Representatives, two thousand copies for the use of the Senators and Representatives of the State of New York, and one hundred copies, bound in full morocco, for the use of Mrs. James Schoolcraft Sherman: Provided, That there shall be included in such publication the proclamation of the President and the proceedings in the Supreme Court of the United States upon the death of Vice President Sherman, and an account of the funeral services at Utica, New York.
