What cannot be done, must be done. The war has shown us the way. It exposed some of the worst passions of which the human race is possessed. It also discovered some of the finest qualities that man is capable of exercising. Now that peace is in the way of being settled, what shall become of all these Splendid characteristics? Swords must be beaten into ploughshares.
