Woods, President Maryland State College: In Regard to the Development of Maryland's Agricultural and Industrial Resources by Means of Appropriations, January, 1920The efficient control of animal diseases depends in a large meas ure upon the supply and skill of the veterinarians. Maryland has no college of veterinary medicine at the present time. The National Department of Agriculture, has urged the Board to organize such a school in connection with the State College of Agriculture. The amount requested for this purpose is for buildings and equip ment.
