Excerpt from Statistical Report of the Deciduous Fruit Export Season, 1936-37Exports of canned pears during 1956-57 amounted to cases (50 1b) which was less than in 1955-56 but only slightly below average. About 92 percent of the exports went to the United Kingdom. Small quantities were exported to many other countries but only the Irish Free State, Cuba, and France took more than Cases.
