Mr. Alan Ziegler identified the faunal remains at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, University of California, Berkeley. Miss Dora Gutierrez of the Geology Museum, University of California, Berkeley, and Mr. Melvin Stinson of the California State Division of Mines and Geology aided with petrographic identification.
