YourStory Book One seeks to educate and inform all young people about these extraordinary moments in World History. YourStory Book One is a compilation of historical accounts from the African diaspora. It is the first of a nine part series uniquely crafted for the inclusive education of all aspects of African American and African diasporic history for children. As a learning tool, YourStory Book One was created for the purpose of highlighting some of the people, places, and events that are rarely taught to youth. Loaded with true to life illustrations, a glossary of terms, and world African diaspora fact sheets, it is an inclusive form of history which explores the true diversity among the legacy of African people around the world.
